Chaeyoun is a graduate student at SNU (Interdisciplinary Program in Artificial Intelligence, from Sep 2024). She graduated from Ewha Womans University, where she double-majored in Brain & Cognitive Sciences and Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering. Her current research focuses on modeling human decision-making in naturalistic environments using machine learning methods such as reinforcement learning. More broadly, she is deeply interested in how artificial intelligence can be used to understand how the brain processes information to support human perception and cognition.
