Chris Matteo is currently a junior pursuing a B.S. double majoring in applied mathematics and psychology. He is also minoring in Spanish. Chris is from Long Island, New York and he is thinking of going to graduate school for either biostatistics or computational neuroscience. He is interested in mental illness and correspondingly medicine, and he is interested in mathematical models of the brain and body. Through this research he’s hoping to gain more knowledge of how research is done, the role that math and statistics has in this kind of research, and to also increase his knowledge of mental disorders.

Chris worked as an undergraduate RA in the CCS Lab from January 2017 to May 2017.
