Minkyoung is an undergraduate student at the University of Washinton majoring in B.S. Psychology and wishes to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology. She is interested in issues with adolescents’ and adults’ mental health related to the sociocultural impact on behavior as well as dissemination of clinical psychology such as developing individualized treatment and increasing accessibility of therapy to marginalized groups of people. As an RA, she hopes to learn about the computational approach to neurocognitive mechanisms and develop a deeper understanding of the theories and methodologies that underpin clinical psychology. Outside of the lab, Minkyoung enjoys drawing and painting.
