Nick is a fourth year doctoral research assistant at the University of Marburg (Germany) visiting the CSS lab. He received both his B.Sc. Psychology (2017) and M.Sc. Psychology specialising in Cognitive Neuroscience (2020) from Ruhr University Bochum. Nick is interested in the role of reinforcement learning in expectation-induced mood enhancement. He aims at linking computational models to EEG data in order to gain novel insights into the neural underpinnings of placebo responses in the treatment of depression.
