Ella Rho was a research assistant in the CCS lab (May 2020 - July 2021). She earned a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Durham University. Her undergraduate dissertation research investigated the effect of ego depletion on food wanting. She is currently working with Dr. Niklas Ihssen and Dr. Milica Vasiljevic as an MRes student at Durham University, with a focus on ego depletion and multiple rewards. She is pursuing research into emotional eating using behavioural measures, computational modelling, and neuroimaging techniques. By working as a part of the CCS lab, she hopes to move towards developing relevant techniques, knowledge, and experiences that will assist her in her research pursuits.
