Yune Sang Lee, Ph.D., is a Research Professor at Seoul National University’s Brain Imaging Center and Computational Clinical Science Lab. He has investigated how rhythm and music shape speech and language across the lifespan, using fMRI/EEG and translating findings into interventions for neurodegenerative conditions. He is currently investigating how music modulates addiction and audio-visual integration using fMRI. Before joining SNU, he served on the faculty at The University of Texas at Dallas and The Ohio State University. His work spans rhythm–language links, binaural-beat and music-based therapies, and auditory neuroimaging, with publications in outlets such as Journal of Neuroscience, Cerebral Cortex, NeuroImage, Developmental Science, etc.
